Robinho, the former Manchester City star, was lock up in an 8-square-metre room with fellow inmates and has take up a new job in prison as he tries to reduce his nine-year sentence for gang rape.

The former Brazil star entertained himself in prison with his football skills, sunbathing and joining a prison book club, but only saw close family members.
In March last year, Robinho was sentence to nine years in prison after a lengthy legal battle. He was originally convict of gang rape and was sentence in Italy in 2017.

Some of his notorious inmates include a man who kill his own daughter, a man who was lock up for 98 years after kidnapping and killing a 15-year-old girl and a former doctor who sedate 39 patients.
Robinho can reduce his sentence by one day for every 12 hours he works. The 41-year-old Brazilian has complete a 600-hour electronics course and is currently installing radios and televisions in the prison. Which is said to hold more than 2,500 inmates.
In addition to joining a book club, Robinho also participates in work and citizenship programs.
His cellmate is a 22-year-old man who was imprison for inciting someone to commit suicide or harm themselves.
While many prisoners are release for 11 days over Christmas, Robinho has no special holiday privileges. Meaning he doesn’t get to spend time with his wife, Vivian. And their three children at their home in Santos.
When he does get a visit from relatives, whether it’s his wife, children or parents. They are only allow to bring a limit amount of sweets.
